Just finished up the entire sequence from Chicago. Surreal is maybe a word for this year's eclipse. Was 28 degrees, snowing and extremely cloudy until one minute before start. Then it cleared entirely. Four hours and fifty minutes of clear sky and then one minute afterwards, the sky returned to full overcast again. This is the opposite of what usually happens here and it is adequate pay back for all the lousy skies in the past. Now I need some sleep.
