Formatting the mobile site version of site?

I'm currently using the "Shadow" theme for my website and I like how it looks when viewed on a computer screen. But when I view my site on my smart phone, the "menu" bar at the top of the page, which creates a pull down menu for the different nav bar options of my site (galleries, contact, etc), is much too dark - it's black on black, basically, and many people miss it. I've looked around the customization settings for my site and I don't really see how to change anything for the mobile site version of things.
Any ideas?

I believe you would need to make changes like that using CSS. You'll need to put a "wrapper" around the definitions that target the devices. See http://www.aaronmphotography.com/Customizations/Sitewide/Screen-Width-Customizations as a starting point.

Thanks, Denise. That makes sense, though the ideas on there are for width changes, etc. If anyone has an idea for the specific code I'd need to in order to change the color of the nav bar on my mobile site, I'd appreciate it. I don't know enough css to even approach that.
