They come in lots of varieties. They look so soft but don't even touch the stem!

    Very nice work, AnnaMaria. The softness of the bokeh really helps to create a pleasing, comfortable scene....as well as complimenting the delicate structure of the Lilly.thumb.gif

    Cacti are really under rated as far as blooms -- maybe because the stems are so ... ummm... thorny. But so is a rose bush.

    Those are nice images of a cactus bloom. It's amazing that such an inhospitable plant can also have a soft, tender side to it.

    Hmmm... maybe there's a lesson in there somewhere for us ornery Texans ne_nau.gifNaw............
