Charline is one of my best models, and yesterday we had planned a snake shoot. However the snake didn't show up. So we did a boudoir shoot.

(aside: if you ever do the snake shoot, please put it in the subject line so that those of us who are phobic do NOT click on it! ~shudder~)

I absolutely LOVE this. It's beautiful. My onnnnlllly nit would be to tastefully liquify the "bump" created by the garter strap goes across her thigh because it has stretched tight; also where the corset has pushed into her skin.

Oh, one other slight nit - straighten it so the mantlepiece isn't tilted ever so slightly to the right :)

You have lighting down pat. The fact that you receive critiques on minor nit is a testimony to your consistent high quality images.

That said: The bottom of the shot and model (although exquisite iloveyou.gif) bothers me (I don't have the ability to articulate why).

I had an ex brother in law that was so paranoid about snakes that if he saw on on TV he would jump up and run out of the room. Unfortunately he didn't live near me, I would have cured him or turned him into a marathon runner. rolleyes1.gif

While I do understand not liking snakes and / or being frightened by them, a real snake that is, I have no understanding why a photo would trigger such fear.

In deference should I ever have a desire to post a photo of me holding a 60lb python I will let you know in advance. :D

Looks like the same flame in both the shots in this series. The flame looks photoshopped in the other photo and quite good in this one.

I think I am bothered by the wooden seat which seems out of place with the fine marble fireplace. A more ornate and appropriate seat would have worked better. I'm not bothered at all by the garter or corset pressing into her skin. I rather like it.

I understand, this is fashion in Belgium, old doors/tops that are made into a sidetable. And so is this one. Marble tops are considered old fashioned and no longer sold. That is kind of funny isn't it ?
This is what we call Flamant style. You can google flamant and see what I mean.

    Txs for your comments..

Just hope there are no spelks lurking on that table ...

Also not bothered by the supposed clothing / skin 'issues', btw.

I'm also bothered by the model's bottom. Two things, the thong looks very uncomfortable, and it doesn't leave enough to the imagination for me.

    Otherwise great shot.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

TXS, Lucky I did not had to wear the thongmwink.gif. you state "It does not leave enough to the imagination " What would you like to see different ? Maybe I can add it in my next pic.

Well personally I'd prefer a lace panty that covered about half the cheek. The thong takes the photo a step or two closer to erotica, and I don't think it needs to go there. Unless of course this is for a catalog selling this clothing. As a boudoir shot the thong is a minus for me. But what do I know, some guys are really into ass.
