So I have been working for awhile. I have had jobs in the past where I got xmas bonuses but never anything to write home about and never from a boss I cared to thank. The owner of the company passed out xmas bonuses today and they were more generous than I have gotten from any company in the past. Plus even though I don't like the office manager I do like the owner and his wife. Whats the proper etiquette for saying thanks in this situation. Small gift? Thank you card?

Small gift and thank you card are great. But don't miss the chance to say thank you in person. If you look him in the eye and tell him briefly what you just told us, well, I think that would be the best of manners.
    If not now, when?
