Went to a Viking event today, at Tutbury Castle near Burton on Trent. I spent most of the time shooting the re-enactors.

    wow. Love/hate the Vikings (yea I watch the show)

    But great captures -- your photos certainly show their 'spirited' personalities!

    I must admit it is my favourite too...If you click on the image to my flickr it looks better too (not so "sharp"). :)

    Very nice set and a great B&W conversion. The only thing I see here is over sharpening , to the point that it ruins the pictures. I did like at the source (Flikr) , there they look OK, So I don't know what has happened between the two forums.

    Am I the only one that sees this issue ?

    No, you are not alone...it's been mentioned on another forum. They look fine on Flickr, and look even better when they are full size (my Flickr photos are usually 800px wide).
