Batch Create/Edit Galleries

Three times a year I have to go through my smart galleries and and edit them. I have to do one or more of the following:

• Create new galleries under the same category
• Add smart tags to new galleries
• Add smart tags to existing galleries
• Move archived galleries to an archived category
• Set security on the galleries, either public or unlisted
• Set other properties so the galleries look and sort the way I want.
• Turn on the shopping cart.

I've created a quick setting that sets the properties, but it's still a major pain to go through and create 50 to 100 new smart galleries, and edit the smart tags on the others.

In my ideal world I'd download a CSV of my current hierarchy, edit it, then upload it back to make all the modifications.

I'd take just about anything that would let me batch create/edit smart galleries.

Any suggestions?
