vertical navbar sub menu items

Hello,
I've got a hopefully simple organizational problem. I have top level folder with other folders placed in it. In those folder are galleries. In my vertical navbar the 'categories' selection shows the sub folders in a flyout menu. However when I hover over the individual items in the flyout menu the galleries don't show up. I'm not sure if I want this as a permanent feature, but would like to see how it looks. Is my hierarchy not correct or do I need to add more CSS code?

Not sure how often you will add galleries, but under you arrangement, every time you do, you will also have to add a link to that gallery in your nav menu.

I have main folders with sub folders within these (and sub-sub folders within those) - all of these appear in my nav menu
Once I get to the last level of my menu, it takes me to a page with all of the galleries within that category/folder.
For me, this means I essentially set up my menu once and I don't have to play around with it each time I add a gallery (so long as it falls within one of my folders)

If you DO want to add galleries to your menu bar:
Customize > Entire Site > hover over the navigation bar until it goes red > click on the edit icon (looks like pencil) > choose the "Links" tab
If you have not already created a link name for the gallery, go to the bottom of the list in the links tab, and click on "new link" (from memory it may be a "+" button.
A dialogue box for this link will show - one of them gives you the opportunity to specify the gallery (just by navigating to that gallery).
To change the position of the link in the navigation bar (you are still in the "links" tab) click and drag the link name up the list to the position you want it.
If you want the link to be a sub-link of another, drag the name up to the level you want and then move it to the right a little bit. When you release the mouse button, you should see that it is indented slightly.
    Save, save blah blah blah
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

Thanks for explaining how to do this. I have a related question that I hope you or someone else can help me answer. I have a top menu with a menu link called Gallery with a submenu item called Places and in that one links to some galleries and another submenu. This all works well, but for some reason I have two items called Places in the menu, the first one without any submenu and the other one with. I don't want the first one but can't find any way of getting rid of it. Here is a link to my site so you can see what I mean: www.christerwe.com

    Grateful for help!

In the navigation block, go to 'Menu > Links'. There should be a trash can icon (Remove this item...). Just delete the first one.

Thanks so much for the rapid answer Hikin' Mike, the problem is that this second Places menu item is not visible there. There is only one. the one that has subfolders and that I want to keep.....

I guess I don't understand. How can it be "not visible there"?

    Hi again!

I think the problem might be that I have mixed nesting options, for some I have manually added sublinks and in some cases I have used the Include Sub-links options. I will test if that is the cause of my problem :)

Yes that was the problem, I had some menu items set to include Sub-links and then mixed that up with that I for some of those sub-items had included manually the sublinks. So now things looks fine!
