Boy Do I Need Some Help

I have a HP 952C printer had it for years
It will print a test page perfect no problems

But print with ps psp word windows the print is bad colors all over the place
Hard to tell what's on the print

These are my settings in ps:
Color Setting - North America General Purpose
sRGB

Print with preview:
Color Handling - Let PhotoShop Determing Colors
Printer Profile - Working RGB-sRGB

I windows printer section I choose sRGB color space

I tried to delete then reinstall the printer and that didn't work

Can anyone help I have been on this all day and it just dosn't make sense to me...
prints a perfect colorful test page but nowhere else.
Something is telling the printer to print this way but what?
Is there a way to return to default settings?

I use Smugmug for prints but I use this printer for printing on canvas and other things used to work great.

Fred,It sounds like you might be double color managing. If you want PhotoShop to manage the color make sure you have turned off the printer color management.Also you should have some ICC profiles for your HP printer. Try using the HP profile that matches the paper your using.Sam

When you said reinstall, did you completely uninstall the drivers?

I would go to HP's site and download and install the latest driver for the printer.

If that doesn't work: Are you using USB a printer cable with it? Open up Device Manager and make sure you don't have any red exclamation points.

If you can, try replacing the printer or USB cable with one you know is working.

Time is money couldn't mess with this any longer
HP doesn't support this printer so...

The prints on canvas looks great
