Excellent embellishments to your original post, Richard. This series compliments your initial image very well. I find # 3 here to be particularly appealing. Without the more encompassing, broader views in the other shots, though, # 3 doesn't convey the scope and dynamics of the entire scene.

Thanks again for sharing some really good work and for continuing to highlight some of nature's wonders found in your neck of the woods.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Hi Tom, thank you for your feedback, it's much appreciated. It is difficult to imagine what the world was like when all these things were being formed - so different to what we see today.

    Cheers, Richard.

I think 3 is fantastic! I am not sure what it is but it is captivating. The lines lead to the center and the center is interesting. It is like you broke the rules "don't put your subject in the center" or you should use the rule of thirds. My eyes wander to the light spots on the edge but get drawn into the center again. Great job!

I have no idea how it formed other than iron rich water percolated through the sandstone umpteen millions of years ago. Thanks for looking in and commenting - much appreciated.
