Galleries don't appear in custom format

I have photos on my home page that link to other pages or directly to galleries via the on click action.

The galleries that open are not in my site format, they look like the attached image.

What step have I skipped? All gallery pages are supposed to show my site logo, have a theme, menu, social icons, etc. Why do they look sort of like the behind the scenes gallery view?

Is it not possible to directly link to a gallery?

Hi

Go into the problem galleries, click customize > gallery settings. Then click on the Security and Privacy section, set the Hide Owner setting to No, save your changes, and you should be all set!

The hide owner settings removes customization, links back to folders and your homepage, and makes the URL a basic SmugMug.com one rather than your URL.

Thanks so much! Even based on the little help tip associated with "Hide Owner" it seemed like the reverse would be true.
