Wish it was possible to get feedback from Monet on these spring wild-flowers! I am still working on building the diffuser, but tried to minimize imperfections due to flash. Below are my attempts and all criticism is cherished:

    #2 and # 6 really say "Come inside and see what I have"...

    #12 and #13 are just superb to me.

    Very nice i like the last 2 and i wish the # 5 was stacked so that the foreground part was in focus and less distracting ...but very good bunch ...i wish i could do flowers as well

    I especially like number 12. Perhaps cloning out the green leaves on that one so the flower stands alone. I would like to know the settings on that image and how you took the photo. Thanks

    I recently saw print of a flower that looks something like number 4 - it was fabulous.

    Thanks Gatto!! Don't know how to stack yet....but that would be nice to tool to have in back pocket!

    Thanks Phil!! Settings are below...didn't have to process much but always use strong contrast and warm it up a bit and enhance highlights...

    Also used one 21mm extension tube in conjunction with the lens.

    Camera Canon EOS 7D
    ISO 100
    Focal Length 100mm (160mm in 35mm)
    Aperture f/11
    Exposure Time 0.005s (1/200)
    File Size 4.98 MB
    Flash flash fired, compulsory flash

    Impressive series of shots with #4 #10, #12 and #13 being outstanding images.
