Dear Customization Heroes,
I'm just starting out with SmugMug and am ready to publish my photo site. However, there are a few design issues that are vexing me … and would like to address first.
1) Captions
How do I get photo captions to show up directly under my image? Regardless of theme I choose, they seem to be located down and to the left. Makes it hard to locate and also find it visually distracting. Captions belong under images not stuck at very bottom left of the browser! I'd be surprised if you didn't hear this complaint from others.
2) Comments
Is there any way to get the "Comments" and possibly other "Social Media" elements that are on the individual photo pages to look more like the gallery-style comments? My main concern is commenting. Just having the small, clickable comment icon (on bottom right) doesn't really invite commenting. Would be nice if the comment text entry area could be visible and directly underneath the image like you have it for the gallery as a whole. Is this possible?
Thanks, in advance, for your assistance.
