Arriving to Boston

Taking in the town of Winthrop MA across the Boston Harbor and Logan Airport. On this edge of the shoreline Planes fly overhead very low as they arrive to the airport.

    Excellent perspective and B&W conversion, G. Any idea what's causing the vertical shadows on the clouds over the buildings?

    Its sun rays from the breaks and thinner sections in the storm clouds. The whole day was aggressive clouds w/ considerable amount of breaks for sun... very confused weather system if you ask me. In color its more noticeable. I tried playing w/ the idea of making them more pronounced but it really started to look too edited. I figured subtle was best in this pcture.
