I have searched, but failed to find exactly what I want to do. I want to create links to select galleries and pages on site from my homepage for quick access. I want these only to be visable when I'm logged in. Not sure what the best way to accomplish this would be?? Thanks!

Mike

Are the galleries you want to link to, public, or unlisted?

The reason I ask if the galleries or pages you want to access, are public or not:
    - If you add a content block for galleries or pages, those will show to the public whether the galleries or pages are public or unlisted.
    - If you add a menu block and populate it with the galleries you want to be able to access, if the galleries or pages are unlisted, they will show to you when you're logged in, but not to the public.

I have wanted the same thing you want so I understand the pain.

It just occurred to me that you could set up an html block that has a link to a page or gallery that shows all the links you want to access (set them up any way you want, as html links, or gallery/folder blocks). Make the link on your home page: the same color as your background. Basically render it invisible to the public, but physically situated in some place where you know how to place your mouse. This isn't obviously 100% trustworthy if visitors are sloppy clickers.

If you want to access pages/galleries that are public, another variation would be to set up the separate page of links, but make that an unlisted page. Place that page as a link in one of the public folders on your main public menu. Since you have made that page unlisted, it won't show up in the menu to the public.

You can also set up a visitor sitemap that might be easy enough for your purposes.
    Lamah's backup program is awesome:
