A little more on my windy frozen trip to mountain top.:D

Here is my guide and body guard with my gear tucked by the side of the SUV to get out of the wind.

Here is a daytime view looking away from the city.

Here is a new image tying to use some of the advice I received from the original post.

You got all other points truly embedded in the shot.....sky colors as per me, losing foreground as per kdog! Now all you need is SJ to build a tall and large recognizable structure to create a focal point of interest (as per Eric)! ;o)

I think its beautiful! Perhaps the setting sun is the focal point!

Checked out some of your other galleries......people shots....weddings....were some of the most compelling and beautiful!

BTW, where do you find Pelicans that hover like humming bees over roses?

    Thanks stumblebum!!!

I will leave no stone unturned in my quest to unearth the unusual, strange and down right unbelievable!

Yup... this city lights pano is, imo, much stronger.

I actually like the daytime image more, because I just had my own outing/adventure
in the spring-time green hills of central California and really liked the scenery...
So different than the dusty brown, brown, and more brown of So Cal.

Great view. You stick around for twilight and get some blue hour shots?

City lights and haze eliminated any chance of a nice clean blue sky.

But the shot needed to be taken from this location and the city lights are what they are.

I think maybe right after a good hard rain storm the conditions would be much better.
