Wedding photographer new to SmugMug

Hi all! I'm a wedding photographer moving here from P!ctage for image hosting/selling, and was wondering where best I could start learning about using the site to my advantage. I've watched all the tutorials so far, but don't see anything wedding-specific that is detailed enough for my needs/learning curve.
I'm specifically looking for:
---- Events
A. Can they expire on a set date? Or do I have to manually mark them 'unlisted'?
B. How do I or clients view events? When I go to my Smugmug page I see the gallery but no event
C. How do I create subcategories within my events?
D. I want my 'home page' to go straight to my live events. How do I do that?

When you mention events are you referring to our Event Marketing feature or one of your events like a specific wedding? If you're not yet familiar with our Events feature you can see more about them here: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/83125
A - Events, galleries and folders do not currently have an auto-expire. So, if you wanted content available for a limited time you would need to manually go in and change the settings. Setting a gallery to "unlisted" may not have the result you want though. Unlisted content is still available if the viewer has the address. Solutions would be to set the content to "Private" that way ONLY you can see it or to add a password to it.
B - If you are using our Event Marketing feature you can "feature" events then, use the "Featured Events" content block and drop it on your site through Customize > Customize Site. You will find the Featured Events block under NAVIGATION. (See D for a little more info on this)
C - Events are one level. You can have multiple folder outside of events though. So, you could have a folder for weddings and then a folder for each couple within the weddings folder. Each couple could then have multiple galleries. For example:
--- Weddings (Folder)
Bob & Sue (Folder)
Engagement (Gallery)
Getting Ready (Gallery)
Ceremony (Gallery)
Portraits (Gallery)
Reception (Gallery)
But, the event would be for that specific couple only and could contain one or all of their galleries. Photos are only located in galleries.
D - You can add a featured events block right to your homepage. To do this click Customize > Customize Site then under Add Content Blocks expand NAVIGATION then, drag and drop a Featured Events block onto your page. Once placed you can adjust the block settings to fit your site's look and feel.
If you have specific questions about your site please include a link and we'd be happy to take a look. Remember also that you can contact us via email at help@smugmug.com at any time.
Best Regards,
Christina
