Folder Descriptions

In the lightroom plugin the folders have a description, much like galleries.

In the web organizer, it's called "meta description", which may be a hint to my question.

In the gallery description, it appears at the top of the group of photos in the automatically formatted gallery section.

I'm trying to figure out how to get the folder (meta) description to appear on folder page. I can't find anything like that.

Is there?

You can add a text or html content block to your folder page in your customizer if you want a description that is displayed on a folder page.

The meta description is used when searching or indexing your site.

The text/html will only show the same thing on each folder page, correct? Unless I make the folder unqiue in which case I have to maintain them all separately?

I was hoping to have the equivalent of the description that galleries have.

That's correct. You'd need to make each folder custom if you'd like it to have its own description.
