Unlocking domain

How do you unlock my domain in the new system?

    What do you mean by unlock? Your SmugMug site is coming up just fine for me, even with the custom domain. It appears to be set up correctly. Are you having problems with it?

    I'm trying to get it set to transfer to another site. I've done the transfer through GoDaddy, but their rep is saying the domain has to be unlocked from SM. He doesn't have directions for the new version.

    You could remove the domain from your Account Settings > Me > Account page. Near the bottom of that page you will see the domain section. Just delete the domain and click Save. That should do the trick!

    I was trying to login under GoDaddy's site, not the Smug/GoDaddy site. Once I did that it worked. I thought about removing the domain but I think that would have taken my site down immediately. I don't want to do that yet.
