Is this possible?

I am toying with the idea of having the center of my home page contain an opening image, after say 4 or 5 seconds a short video will run, then I would like to return to the initial image and not repeat the video.

If this isn't possible can I run a short video once and not repeat?

One other thought can I have stop video button?

My bet is that this can't be done in the way you describe - image - video - image. If someone official confirms that - then, how about you make the video contain the image that runs for 5 seconds, the video itself, and end with an image of a duration you want. One video with 3 parts.

The video with three parts is a good idea, but when I tried this the video can start with an image but when it's done it defaults to a funky window with a repeat icon. I don't know how to make the video stay open indefinitely with a single image on it.

I am looking for someone who understands the magic inner convolutions of getting all those ones and zeros to obey my commands.

I'm 99.9% that you can't do the first two. I'm not familiar with the video/stop button, so I really don't know. I'm guessing that would be a no as well.
