    I found this in your CSS causing it.

    .sm-page-widget-nav-toplink{margin-top:-30px!important}

    Perhaps
    .sm-page-widget-nav-toplink{margin-top:-30px!important}
    increases the margin in the white areas

    I would like "Galleries Homepage" more low in the gray area
