As the title indicates is it possible to share the SmugMug site I am working on with others prior to unveiling?

Assistant password works as well, but for most cases it's still not a reasonable thing to do. Otherwise it's a live preview (in person) or screenshots.

, been there done that, yup.
After consulting with the Smug wizards I found that you can share an assistant password and they can see your new unveiled site you are working on.
They will not be able to change the site or unveil. Good for final input prior to unveiling. :ivar:ivar:ivar

Just be sure you really trust them. Assistants can see your unlisted galleries, edit captions and keywords, change folder/gallery settings, crop photos, and make many other changes to your site. Assistant login is not "read only" and should be treated with extreme care. Hopefully smugmug support explained all that.

If I don't have trust in the person I was giving it to I wouldn't be giving it to them.
Also, ( for the NSA ), there isn't anything in my hidden galleries that couldn't be shared with kindergarten kids.

My former assistant (still a friend - I had just downgraded to the SM version that doesn't include an assistant) - kept asking me why was she seeing things like hidden photos in galleries, and what was this "organizer mode" all about. So we Skyped together and she aimed her camera at her FF window to show me she was indeed logged in. This even though her assistant position was supposedly deleted/removed. I walked her through the steps to uninstall the Smugmanager add-on, she restarted FF, and her visit to my site no longer logged her on.
I forgot to add that before we removed the add-on, she tried logging out through the Smugmug log out.
Restarted FF, went to the home page, and she was automatically logged in.
This told me that even though SM had removed my right to have an assistant, nothing was done on the SM end to remove her or her access. She could have continued to be my assistant, presumably forever, as long as she did not have to re-install the Smugmanager add-on.
