I recently included a link to my smugmug site in a yahoo email. What popped up as an image, similar to FB, was an appropriate image along with a description that I wrote several years ago. I realized immediately that I need to change that description, and finally found it in the account settings.
And as I changed it, I wondered if and how I can take advantage the type hierarchy that search engines recognize? It would be very nice to add these for some of my images, galleries, pages or folders

I have quite a few galleries that would be more findable if I could include the Thing>Event>visualArtsEvent tags in the gallery somehow. http://schema.org/VisualArtsEvent
