Images with no watermark

Hi,

I've successfully added watermarks to my images on my SmugMug website, however, I have noticed that visitors can view different sizes of my images - when small or medium is selected in the lightbox, the watermark disappears.

How do I go about fixing this so that the watermark appears for all image sizes.

Many thanks.

    Hi

I am not sure which watermark you're using, but if you're using the default SmugMug one, it will apply to all sizes larger than Medium. Medium, Small and Thumbs will not have watermarks. If it's your own custom watermark you can change the sizes that the watermarks will apply to in your account settings > business > branding section. You will find info about watermarking here: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93343

    I hope this helps!

I'm using a custom watermark. I have set the watermark to apply to images up to small size, but the watermark is only displaying for images at large which is my maximum size I allow the image to be displayed at.

It's very difficult to understand what is happening without a link to your gallery.

In addition to posting a link to the gallery I recommend that you add your URL to your signature so it is always available to the helpers here. Click the clipboard icon in the navbar above, then Edit Signature. Begin your URL with http:// to make it clickable.

I just verified in my galleries that with the smallest size set to small in the watermark tool (for the watermark that I am using) that all images are watermarked.

I'm guessing here, but have you changed the watermark settings since your photos were initially watermarked? If you have then I believe you will need to re-watermark the photos. You can do this without re-uploading - go into the organizer, select the gallery, settings... watermark, select all, add watermark.

The other gotcha you need to watch out for in watermarking is that the original image must be at least 801px on the longest site or it won't be watermarked (from the help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93343-how-do-i-watermark-photos-). This isn't the cause of your issue though because as you said the large image is watermarked.
