Ovi-Depositing Hover and a Muscid

Thanks to Brian for a previous heads up on why the Hover would position itself upside down. This is another one that appeared to be looking for an ideal spot to deposit her eggs.



Do we have a nice spot?



She seemed to think so for a moment...but then decided against it. Perhaps it was the ant in the previous frame she wasn't impressed with.



Here's a heavy crop of the earlier shot. You can see her eggs ready to be laid.



Finally, the Muscid, in a rather difficult position to photograph.
