Pointing my custom domain to another site

I am getting ready to switch my custom domain over to my new site and that's where I want it to point. However, I want my SmugMug account to stay open. When I do this, does my smugmug account automatically go back to the bradipock.smug.com address?

    Yes, your regular SmugMug URL will always worked even when you have a custom domain attached to it. Make sure you remove the custom domain from the Account Settings > Me > Account page if you want to disconnect the domain from that SmugMug account.
