Removing sidebar menu from one page

My 'entire site' has a left hand main nav menu, and I want to create a page without it. Is this possible? I can't seem to find a way to remove it - other than removing it from the 'entire site', and then I presume adding it to all the pages apart from the one I don't want it on.

Is there another way?

If you can link us to the page we might be able to find the nav class ID. Then making the page custom "just this page" add CSS to hide it.

So there's no way through the customise UI?

I may well be wrong (as I often am) but I would have THOUGHT ...
Bring up the page you want to change
    Customize > "Just this page"
then remove the nav menu content block
    save
    publish now

now you may lose any site wide customisations from this page (as a result of "Customise this page" choice)
as I said, I could be wrong
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

Yes, like Allen said, we need a link to that page. Then we can give you the specific page code to hide it.

Thanks, I know how to hide with CSS, I was hoping for a more standard solution using the tools.

AceCo55 - that doesn't work, you can't remove something defined in 'entire site' when on 'just this page'

Not true, just need the class name of it. I've replaced a banner on some pages that was added "entire site".
Has to be done with CSS.

    What's not true?

I was referring to AceCo55's description of being able to just remove a content block.

I know you can do stuff with CSS, but I try to minimise that - it leaves us open to changes breaking things and sometimes responsive features not working as expected

You can not remove an entire site content block on a specific page without using CSS.
CSS flows down from above. The "just this page" CSS is for overriding that CSS or added new CSS.

If you plunk a CSS block on a "just this page" you'll see it already filled. I usually delete
all that and only add my specific stuff. All above will still apply without an override.
