Tough to find peace.

Well, I thought that this would be an easy challenge. Boy, was I wrong.
I was going to get a photo of the dogs sleeping. I think they have radar
when I pick up the camera. I thought a photo of a dove. Yeah, I think
I've told you about birds in Mn this time of year.

So, I go back to the old "Rest in Peace" thing.
Unless I get something tomorrow, which I doubt, I'm going with the tombstone.

I had 2 shots in mind.

This one stood out cause the person was so young when they died.
I liked that I could not read the name because of the gifts that were left,
and the fact that this person died 38 years ago, but someone is still watching
over the grave.

This is the one I entered.

I guess what got me was the message at the bottom, and the title of the
pic. Peace Be With You.

I don't know which is better. What I do know, is someday my folks will be
here. Dad's 85, Mom 79. I think it's time I get off my ass and visit them
more now, before it's a one sided conversation.

So, have a good holiday, and do what I'm going to do. Tell your loved ones
that you love them.
dave.

dave, the image with the vietnam tombstone is very powerful, all the more so in today's world. and i like the fact that the name is not visible, so it could represent anyone.......
