I can't say I didn't do it to myself but dark skin+ light skin+ beautiful; peanut butter skin + bright sun or1 possible speedlight = Photographer's nightmare.

Really, the only one that I don't like is #4. (Ok--maybe the glare on the shield in #7 is a little distracting, but I still like the shot.)

In #4, the model on the left seems to be in a really awkward pose and her swimsuit is bunched or hanging in a very unflattering way. The model on the right is in a pose that doesn't present her thigh in a favorable way. It's just not flattering (to me). I wouldn't want that pose of me posted anywhere.

#8, 9, & 1 are my faves.

I understand your point about #4. In #7 that flash was purposely aimed at the shield. Whether it works or not is always a question.
