I am a wedding photographer. I am shooting a wedding in Europe this summer. I am just wondering how to find models who are willing to work with me in exchange for the photos.

People recommend Model Mayhem. I have never used it.

I mainly looking for single models and couples for taking photos at interesting places.

How should I go about this? Is there anybody here who also had the same problem before?

Thanks so much!

Model Mayhem is where I go. It is very much trial and error on MM. If you send out 20 requests might get 1 to actually shoot. The key is to get a reputation within the model community on FB.

    Here's a thought.

If you wouldn't mind models in the 17 to 18 year old age range, there are a good number of high school seniors in most major cities who's family income situation wont allow for nice senior pictures. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find them.

This would be a win/win. You get models, they get senior pictures they would not have had.

Bryce, dunno if that would fly in Europe. The whole "senior portrait" thing is pretty American....................

Haring, have you visited various photo forums in the country you want to shoot? Fredmiranda's international members? I think if you snif around and participate actively before you go, you can make the connections to help you out with this.
