Let us select our own thumbnails for videos

I would like the ability to pick a frame from a video to use as that video's thumbnail. A number of my videos fade-in from black, so the generated thumbnail is black because it's selecting the first frame- pretty useless. Yes, I know I can upload an image to use as a thumbnail, but it has to match the video dimensions exactly, and it's more work for me to pull an image from the video. Even selecting a random frame from the video would be an improvement over selecting the first frame.
