Speckled Wood on the World.... and a nocturnal Damselfly

Here is a shot of the speckled wood butterfly on the same flower as mentioned in the World is my Oyster thread within the Macro board.

For some reason, this flower head was proving very attractive to the insects...





Then tonight I spotted a damselfly resting in the garden - late night shots using flash. 1st one on the ornamental conifer, the 2nd on the nearby fence:
