remove the box around the X and <> buttons

hi everyone!
I would like to remove the boxes around the "x" close button and "<" and">" buttons,
It doesn't show on my desktop screen since my images are rather small, but, it does show on my iPhone, when the screen gets smaller
and how to remove the keyword under the image, I inserted the CSS code on the entire page header, it did remove, when viewing on my desktop, but not on my iPhone.
Please help
