Album limit for client event favorites gallery

I am using the event feature, and my clients select the favorites from the photos. I might have hit a limit on that - for one really large event, the client cannot select more than 1000 photos in the favorites album.

Is this a known limit? I couldn't fine any documentation. Is there any way to override this?

Right. The favorites galleries are virtual galleries and there's a 1,000 limit on virtual galleries.

There's not a way to override that limit. Sorry. However, If you'll email us: help@smugmug.com, we could take a look at the event and see what further suggestions we could come up with.
