Facebook link picture

When I do a link on facebook there is not picture that shows up with my link. How can I change this? Thanks.

You'll want to use the OG image tag from the third link here:

To update that image.

I believe the image that appears for your site is the image you use for your account profile. Go to Profile > Profile Photo.

Now I also see there's a cover photo. Perhaps it uses that now? I never saw it before...

No worries. Look for it in the drop down up in the upper right.



This is where you choose a profile images, and a cover image. I do not have a cover image yet. When I post the link to my main site on Facebook, the profile image appears. I'm guessing the Cover image will appear instead if I had one.

OK I changed my cover and profile picture and no change. This is what it looks like now...

Is the photo in a public, or hidden, gallery? Mine's in a hidden gallery and appears like this.

Still not working. Both cover and profile pictures are there.

www.SomethingForever.com DOES NOT have a picture when I put the link into facebook.

www.SomethingForever.com/Weddings DOES have a picture when I type in the link.

Hi,

I had the same issue all of a sudden, then I tried this (and it worked):


1. Go to your "Gallery Settings".
2. Select "Security and Privacy" section.
3. Turn "External Embedding" = ON.

I hope this works for you like it did for me.
