4 is overflashy for me, and 7 needs to be deep-sixed because of the half-closed eye making it a baaadddd expression, but otherwise this set is solid gold. Nice job!

Thanks. For 4 it was actually underexposed and didn't get much flash. I liked his expression and overall feel for the shot so I tried to rescue. It's one of those shots that I kept because I want to improve on it. I'm not totally happy with it because of how flawed it is, but it got good remarks on FB so not a total loss.

I might be the mean one here, sorry.

    1. did not help her slim the body.

2&3 just sloppy hair that needed to be fixed, I know it's the beach but got to do something with that.

    4. a traditional shot done well.

    5. nice start but wish the camera angle was lower as in 6.

    6. really cute shot of the child, the horizontal line cutting thru his head is a tad bothersome for me but not a photo throw away.

    7. hair and ear popping thru bothers my eye and her eyes seem not to be cross eyed in the capture.

    8. can't figure out what is the dominant center, sunset ok but she doesn't add anything to the sunset. I think she and the sunset blend together better in 9.

Just my thoughts so take them for lightly.

No problem on the feedback and I concede to the points made. I go back and forth on the hair because it was a windy day and I am used to the wind blown look. I liked her eyes which stood out to me so it's good to hear from someone who has an overall view of things. 8 is just one of those I can't describe why I like it but I do. It's more just a beach scene than a portrait.
