Question about titles

Hi there...
i started to play around with titles+captions instead of captions only.

I have a gallery here which is set to collage landscape with info style=bottom bar and info hover=show.

If i move the mouse over the thumb i get a preview for the title in a "very large" overlay. There should be enough place to show the captions also, at least some of the text. But captions do not appear (see screenshot on the left).

I have other galleries that do also use collage landscape with the same gallery settings just without titles. On these galleries i do not get the hover overlay that shows a preview of any text. If i move the mouse ofer the ownerbuy shopping cart icon on each thumb i get the same, very large overlay.

Especially on Collage landscape with small thumbs it would be nice if i can move the mouse over a thumb and get a preview of the title/captions. I wasn't aware of that until i started to play with titles because without titles i do not see any preview (see screenshot on the right).

Am i missing something? Is this browser related? I'm using FF/Linux.

    Hi There,

    This looks like an issue created by your browser. The BLACK overlay should not appear on hover. Do you have any extensions installed in your browser? Have you tried using a different browser?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I tried other browsers and you are correct, that issue with the larger "overlay" does not appear there. I cleared my browser cache and other settings, and now it looks better.

    So it is correct that this works for titles only? If there is no title then there will be no preview (or whatever this is called)?

    The bottom bar info comes up for me if a photo has a title or caption or neither. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for a photo with no caption or title.

    Yes, the bottom bar info always appears... but when you have set a title and move the mouse over it a small tooltip? will appear which shows the complete title. See screenshot.
    If you have set no title but only captions, there is no such a tooltip.

    So i assume that this tooltip thing will only work with titles and not for captions?
