The Pull-Back Reason

Beside the highway between Waycross and Folkston Georgia, there's
a field of weeds and rusty wrecks:



So you might wonder why I didn't get closer. Between the road and
the field, there's a fence and water-filled ditch. I'll jump a fence for
a better shot, but the ditch was muddy and deep.

Nice find, Tony. You couldn't pay me enough to get over there among those hulks. That's pure rattlesnake heaven....probably even got a few cotton mouth moccasins thrown in for good measure.

Thanks, Tom.

As you probably know, Folkston is the gateway to the Okefenokee
Swamp. I'm not at all convinced that all those critters that live
in the Okefenokee observe the boundaries of the swamp.

I wasn't worried about Pogo or Albert being in that ditch, though.
