Hi,
I wonder if there is a way when I share a photo in my facebook (not publish in facebook) to make facebook select a nicer thumbnail of the one it gets by default. The facebook's default would be to take a center part of the shot which makes it ugly.. Is it a way to "push" facebook take for example the thumbnail I have for the specific photo?

Regards
Alex

Alex, Facebook doesn't allow cropping of the thumbnail when sharing from your site, as far as I know. I wish I had a different answer for you.

    Hi,
thanks for the answer.. so there is no way to control what facebook will use for a thumbnail? The problem I have is that if my composition is has the main them at the corners, a centered cropped thumbnail, I typically get makes the share shot not any more intresting.

Go to share > get a link and copy the link of the thumbnail (Th) size. Paste that into your Facebook
message. If you cropped the thumbnail this is what should show.

I usually wait for the gallery/photo to generate then delete the pasted in link and type in what I want.
You'll also noticed that you can edit everything in the generated post. Sharing from Smug directly to
    Facebook lets you edit nothing.

thanks for the answer.. but then if users click on facebook you have on thumbnail they will only see the thumbnail version and not the full shot. Right?

Right. You're stuck with the full image showing. If I remember you used to be able to scroll thru the gallery thumbs and pick one.
