Question on statistics counter

I noticed today that one gallery in the popularity overview (list of all galleries) shows 83 views but when I go into the gallery to see the picture details it shows a total of 160 views. For other galleries I checked the count is identical or different by 1, but in this gallery (unlisted, only accessible with the link) I see this big difference.
Not a problem, bu I am just curious what may be the reason for the different counts.

Sorry for the confusion. The statistics are updated asynchronously so there are times when there can be differences. Over time as the processes run they should align correctly.
