Dentdale, North Yorkshire, and the village of Dent & the Dent Railway station - the highest main line station in England, at 1150 feet above sea level. And it's at the top of bloody steep hill...

Really nice set, Paul. I'm glad you've ventured in to more landscape/documentary shots. I'm probably being selfish. You have some very interesting places and things to share....and you do a great job in your presentations.
Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
Highest point is 1150? Jeez.....so you know which train to catch in event of a Tsunami!
It looks like combination of Disneyland and Italian village from Godfather.
Last one is the winner for me!
Cheers!
Thank you guys, much appreciated. The village is wonderful to walk around, but is 2 miles from the station which is SO HIGH up it staggered me, and I was driving up there, not walking!
Hi Paul, very interesting series of shots - could be the set for 'Last of the Summer Wine' (we still get reruns here in Australia). Looked very quiet and peaceful - where was everyone?

I know what you mean Richard.
I saw a small school outing (1 teacher, about 7 kids) plus the pub landlord on his doorstep, the post office people (2 of them) and maybe 4 or 5 residents. Plus tourists.
Beautiful study of the train station and village, Paul. All that old brick and stonework is amazing and beautiful. How many people did you clone out of these?

None, but I did get rid of a vehicle of the bridge in one :ivar

You need to have a keep out sign for Americans.
Sam
The exposures are spot-on.
Would love to visit... unless you take Sam's suggestion.
I'm sure the villagers would keep all tourists in check guys, lol..
