That's a really nice picture - I'd like to make his acquaintance. I don't think it will do for the Challenge though - It has to be a fresh photo and it sounds like this one isn;t within the tiem frame.

Ah thanks for the compliment, I do love the picture, I will revisit the challenge requirements as this is my first post perhaps I didn't quite read them thoroughly.

The mini-challenges and things like the alphabet can be archive photos but ...

Perhaps it isn't emphasized enough for someone new, but these Out of My Comfort Zone challenges are all for fresh photos - that is they have to be taken within the challenge time frame. So when Joyce says June 6 to June 27th (or whatever it is for the challenge) that means the photo must have been taken after June 6th and obviously before the end of the challenge.
