Gallery slideshow customization

I'd like the gallery slideshow to use rounded corners and a drop shadow. Full screen in possible.

Is there CSS to accomplish this? If so, where do I put it?

Thanks so much!

Karen

You could try the CSS in the thread Rounded Corners as a start.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried putting the coding on the All Galleries homepage CSS. My gallery slides are already rounded. But when I or a user clicks the gallery slideshow, there are square corners with no drop shadow. Also, the gallery slideshow does not seem to be full screen.

Your gallery slideshow is full screen for me - but full screen with a normal aspect-ration image. The image doesn't stretch to fill the screen. Also, if you're using IE, full screen stays within the browser window.

I guess I can't help with your full screen slideshow and rounded corners, hopefully someone else will jump in. But the rounded corners look odd to me - when I look at one of your galleries I can see that the corners are round, but I can also see (leftover) square corners. This is noticeable to me on the bottom corners of the images but not the top corners.

Thanks for trying, Denise! I am using FF as a browser. Can you give me a gallery example of where the rounded corners look odd? Could the full screen issue be that my monitor is 30" but I have restricted my galleries to X3 size?

    I always appreciate your help!

It's not in the slideshow, it's in collage landscape. I'm sure X3 size is not causing this.

This is the gallery where I saw the odd corners - http://www.pleasanttravelsphotography.com/Porftolio/Travel/Europe/Croatiaall/Dubrovnik/. I just looked again, and I see the issue on Chrome only. It may just be a Chrome issue running on Windows 8.1. I think the squared corner is coming from the background of the title / caption, and I suspect it is related to a problem that I reported to smug a long time ago that no one sees to care about - collage landscape always shows caption in Chrome (should float), OK in IE11 / FIrefox. Sorry, it wasn't until I looked again just now that I realized that the problems were related.

Thanks, Denise! I wasn't seeing the problem, so appreciate knowing that it appears to be a Chrome issue.

In gallery Lightbox mode and in the gallery slideshow, if I use a window smaller than my monitor, SM creates a full screen window.....but the images are not full screen.

I will continue to look for a way to customize the gallery slideshow with rounded corners and drop shadow.
