I took this yesterday while hiking around in the Toyota Aichi area. I assembled it a few minutes ago.

Enjoy!

I'll be coming back to this thread occasionally to post more.

I like them, nice to have such a view, I'll pretend that the railing is for a balcony for a private mountain retreat, with a hot spring in the back. ;)

I like the addition of the railing, to anchor or frame the image, but unfortunately, it seems to be in the wrong place, it draws my eye out of the image instead of back into it.

I stumbled on this [high remote location] completely by accident. I was supposed to meet someone at the top of a 2km trail and ended up going on the completely wrong path - even though it was the right direction. After 6.5km according to the signs, I was getting a little nervous cuz it was starting to get dark and all I had with me was a massive Linhof tripod, a camera and some lenses - no phone, no flashlight, and wearing flip-flops on an often rough trail. I would have turned around earlier but the trail itself was so beautiful I wanted to see more of it and where it went - and it just kept going - with no one around. Even the birds were chiding me for interrupting their otherwise silent forest so close to nightfall.

Just as I finally gave in and turned around I noticed a wooden staircase - in the middle of nowhere - out of the corner of my eye. "Alright, 20 more meters, I'll check it out"… And boom! This happened.

The GF was mad at me when I got back claiming reckless abandonment - but I had just gotten 12 different versions of this panorama so I only pretended to feel bad.
