Slideshow custom

I am creating a new website from the Zoe template. I would like to have a slide show at the top of the page. Which I was able to do using the slideshow content block.
However, it is so plain, and I wanted to be able to have the viewer see the previous image and next image still on the screen (but slightly grayed out). With the main image in the center. You can see what I am speaking of with the attachment.

Is there a way to do this to using the content block? If so, how?

Or is this one of those things where you have to write code for? if so, do you have code for this?

I don't see an attachment and the link you provided shows a single slideshow.

I don't know of a way to show previous and next photos with a smugmug slideshow. As I believe you already know, there is no option in the slideshow content element to change the slideshow in this way.
