I had forgotten that #5 was HDR, the only one of the bunch. I had to look back at the RAWs to remind myself. I think on that dull day in Monterey, I needed a little extra punch to make up for the lack of sun - It can be a good technique when used sparingly.

Thanks much You picked the natural shots - #1 is right off the camera and #3 is pretty much the same except for a tint tweak in camera raw. I'd never tried that before but I liked it's feel. It got rid of a heavy tungsten tint I wasn't happy with...
