Just so you folks know I don't do conversions. The story behind the picture can be seen at the link below. I am the good looking guy with the nice skin tones and the Italian accessories.

A good try, but the blacks are on my screen missing detail, the hair of the lady is one black spot. Maybe that was the intend…..but I could not read that.
They eyes of the lady are closed, so the wrong moment of the capture….sure she is looking down. But even then, you could have coached the lady to adjust.
The litte boy is kind of OK and has a nice expression, unfortunately the way the lady is holding the baby is not at all flattering. The big hand appears out of the blue , and pushes the clothing up of the boy.

I find this a nice snapshot for a family album, but that is about it. Sorry Lensmole, but it is better to be honest…

Your feed back and honesty is very much appreciated and there is nothing wrong with your screen. I can't do anything about the pose but I did rework the processing. My hat is off
    to all you working pros.

hmm..rework as more detail in blacks but the local contrast is very high and makes the image "gritty". Also it is way underexposed..I would up it by at least 1 stop
