I confess I did not shoot it in a landscape version ( I should have that's for sure in retrospect ) and I did not think to shoot a pano in landscape at that point - the light was moving and shifting fast, and I captured the portrait version, but sadly not a nice version in lansdcape mode. I could not move very much as this location was pretty crowded and folks were wanting their access as well...... You know how that is sometimes.
I'll go back and look through my catalog and see if I can find something. Would you crop the foreground in #3, then?
It is interesting to me that folks prefer #2 over #3 by so much. Maybe I should try #2 in B&W also.

But Dixon New Mexico was unknown to me even after a dozen years of riding motorcycles through it, however did I miss i?!. I did get to Chloride NM though.

Evan, Bodie closes at 6pm. We paid a rather substantial sum to have the park to ourselves for the workshop, until 1am that night. Bodie does arrange for a few night photography sessions as well, you should check out the schedule on their website
