Videos not playing in smugmug android app

None of my videos will play when using smugmug app on android. I first noticed this issue yesterday (July 8) .... they had all worked fine previously. I tried multiple android devices -- smartphones and tablets -- and when trying to open a video, I get "Streaming ..." followed by "Can't play this video". This happens for all galleries I've tried. Videos work ok on my PCs and iphone though ... so it seems specific to the smugmug android app ... at least for me. Is anyone else having similar issues?

    My Android devices are all Samsung:
    Galaxy Note 2 (SGH-1317) Android vers 4.1.2 Kernel 3.0.31-578342
    Galaxy Note 8 (GT-N5110) Android vers 4.4.2 Kernel 0.0.31-1498778
    Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (SM-T800) Android vers 4.4.2 Kernel 3.4.39-1933795

    I've rebooted them all. I'm running the latest smugmug android app. No luck.
    It had all worked fine a few days ago ... I just noticed the issue yesterday.

    I also emailed smugmug support yesterday ...
    For your reference this is Case #: 738789

    ... haven't heard back from support yet.
    Surprising since I've gotten responses much quicker in the past.

    Either support is too busy to respond or they found an issue and fixing it I suppose.

    Hi there, we have just pushed a new version of the app to the play store. Please give it little bit time before it shows up at the play store. This version of the app should solve the video issue.

    Videos taking too long to start streaming
    Videos play now after the smugmug update, but it takes quite a long time to start playing .... sits at Streaming .... for awhile ... was much faster previously. Anyone else having this problem with playing videos on smugmug android app?

    Are you attempting to play on a fast WiFi connection? Or simply over cellular data?
