70D back from the Service Centre....

Finally got the 70D back today, three weeks after sending it for a service, but no time to really test it to see if the service has improved anything - I had only 10 minutes before the evening meal was ready and having got in from work.

Went hunting for a subject and all I could find was a small jumping spider in a dark corner of the bedroom window, and so this was handheld and to almost too dark to really bother with, hence the push in processing to bring it to white from a nasty cream coloured background...

Good one Paul - any specific reason for the service ?

Seemed to need the sensor recalibrating they say. I had noticed on a few occasions that in consecutive shots, the images would over expose so I sent it in to be looked at, seeing as it was in guarantee, and hoping it wasn't a lens issue. When I get to play tonight, hopefully I will know for sure that the camera had gone out of sync...

Glad you got it back mate and I hope all is well with it.

Looking forward to seeing the results from outside. Image above is nice and sharp but yeah I tend to not bother photographing anything on a window sill :)

Cheers Ian. It was the only thing worth a go, and the garden was being buffeted by a strong breeze so lucky I found her even!
